Truth Campaign

In the Fall of 2023, I took my senior seminar in digital rhetoric. For my individual research paper in this class, I chose to expand upon my interests in non-profit communication campaigns, health communication, and persuasive/ educational communication strategies. I examined the truth® campaign’s social media accounts to understand what message themes and characteristics were used, along with if and how fear appeals are incorporated, as defined by Witte’s extended parallel processing model.

This work was submitted as part of my application to graduate with departmental honors. It was published on Eagle Scholar.
